County Seats Of Pennsylvania

A quiz on a state's county seats can give a much broader geographical understanding of the state's cities. Lists of the most populous cities are generally dominated by nondescript suburbs of the cities that actually stand out on the map.
The Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania is divided into 2,562 municipalities with no unincorporated land within counties.

If you take quizzes that include Census information before 1854, you may notice a bunch of cities you've never heard of that were among the most populated in the U.S.

Philadelphia merged with Southwark, Spring Garden, Germantown, Moyamensing, Kensington, Northern Liberties and other locations to become an enlarged City Of Philadelphia that is one and the same as Philadelphia County.
