Good fun! Although I guessed 'Chad' just by chance, having never heard of it as a name, and some other names are obscure to me. I think Sydney can be a female name, too

Even if I really like this quiz, I think it's impossible to have a complete and objective list of "geographical first names".

Cuba is not a first name, but we have Cuba Gooding Jr.

Dominica and Mauritius are first names too for sure.

I also know two women in real life whose names are Kenya and Liberia, but maybe they only had sick parents, I don't know if you should add to the list!

The cut-off was that they must appear in the top 3000 male or female lists, and by that criterion Cuba, Dominica, Mauritius, Kenya and Liberia all miss out. I think parents who go for these names are actually quite adventurous - it would have been cool to have a sister called Kenya!
