The quizzes about 4,5 et 6 letter country names surely help, in addition to the few acronyms (UK, USA, CAR, UAE ; DRC is not interesting, it's better to get two answers by typing Congo). I only managed to get 49 by typing the shortest names, I know I can do a little better, but surely not more than 60. So, there seems to be a 100% and it's annoying because it's surely fake and it prevents anyone to get 5 points ;).

I didn't take it since December 2014, so still at 61, which beats 99,8% of takers... easy to go over 60? I don't think so, you have to be a fast typist. Fortunately, it's now possible to get 5 points if you beat 95% of takers, so I won't have to try to do better ;).

Barely beat the average with a score of 36, just typing what came into my head. No idea why I wasted time spelling Uzbekistan and Nicaragua. I like this kind of quiz to wake me up for the day.

At least you were trying Uzbekistan. I lost some precious few seconds trying to type Kyrgyzstan. This quiz needs some planning rather than just typing in random countries.

this is ridiculous, even if you wrote the names of all the countries on a piece of paper and just typed it from there, at the most you would get 70. You would have to be a machine or superman to get all 196!

it only counts your very first try... unless they edit the quiz answers, and reset everyone's score, then you can try for 71 again. If that's not the problem, then it could be that you are the only one with 71, and since this quiz has been taken 15,000+ times, it will not be enough to raise the percentage even 0.1%. Just a guess, so maybe your score is there, but it can't be seen. It makes sense to me. Now what they SHOULD do is add a statistic that shows not only percentages, but the total number of people who have earned every score. I.E., if there are 8 people who have earned a score of 69, then it should show the number 8 by the 69 statistic. It would be much more accurate than percentages. Just a thought.

I go by continent - north america, south america, europe, asia, oceania, africa. And in geographical order within each continent (because i used these quizzes to teach myself geography, ha!). Otherwise i'd surely forget many and be kicking myself at the end! But my method makes it harder because i'm not doing the shortest names first. Oh well, i've gotten the 3:30 and that's probably the fastest my fingers will ever be able to type!

Yes, I got all 196. I did it a long time ago using PhraseExpress. It's a program that allows you to substitute shortened macros, as little as two letters, for whole phrases. This quiz is still difficult to max out though, even with that. Try it out.

I was pretty surprised countries with the highest percentage of guessers were not countries with the shortest names. Probably people just began where they were used to in the regular quiz and changed tactic halfway? Also says a lot about where people begin. Many north american and european countries make it up there.
