The 108 Stars of Destiny of Suikoden I (Video Game)

In 1996, Konami developed a loose video game adaptation of the classical Chinese novel Shui Hu Zhuan, a story of an outlaw and his 108 companions. One of the many parts borrowed for the game was the Japanese title of the book: Suikoden. Though the series later spawned multiple sequels and spin-offs, it was the story set in the Scarlet Moon Empire that gave us our first look into Konami's new RPG world and its massive cast of characters. Can you name the original 108 characters of the first game?
Characters with first and last names will need only one or the other. Multiple spellings may exist for more difficult to spell names.
Characters are in order of their earliest possible recruitment.
Some characters, while seemingly recruited, are not actually counted as part of the 108.
