This is doable if you work on it. Its not really a test of your ability to name all the countries just speed at entering a variety of letters. I didn't do very well but what I did get was just entering, ae, as, at, al, au, and so on.

Yea, I agree. I know most of my countries, but in this quiz you can just type in two letters.

This quiz also comes in a 15 second version; also try the equivalent quizzes for US states, world capitals, and US state capitals.

I think just the opposite; it's not about how many you can name to me, its how fast you can think of the name. I looked at the countries and entered the first two letters, and even if i waste my time entering the first two letters of only one country, like rw (versus the first two of many countries, like you did) I would still do pretty good.

Easiest way is to do it alphabetically and to know which combos give the most countries. The singles are the ones that hurt...

You think some singles are impossible? See how many you can get on the impossible country-code version in the same 90 seconds! (e.g. United States = US)

You should accept "mi" for Federated States of Micronesia, as it's commonly known simply as Micronesia.

So I counted 99 different pairs of letters, give or take. I don't think that's doable in 90 seconds, unless you forget about countries and just memorize every pair.

Highest score for a single country - 91% RU (just Russia); lowest score for multiple countries - 27% VA (Vanuatu and Vatican City).

Not surprised that those are the most and least guessed for singles and multiples; Russia is huge so it catches you eye and you type RU but the Vatican and Vanuatu are tiny and harder to see in the panic of 90 seconds

This really makes me learn the locations of the countries, especially when you're down to 2 seconds with 6 black dots and you're frantically going "WHAT COUNTRY IS THERE?"... the original country of the world quiz doesn't oblige you to do that, you just key in all and done.
