2052-Sukani Episode 1

Sukani woke up and grabbed her spear and sharpened it with a rock.She finished sharpening it and left her house and headed towards the town square where everybody had gathered to prepare for a large hunt and competition against the south side of the island.The leader of the village finally arrived and announced to everyone the hunt. Sukani smirked and gripped her spear tighter, every year she had caught the biggest game in her village and she knew it would be the same this year.The horn was blown and everybody set off towards the forest and the rivers to begin hunting. As Sukani reached the woods she noticed how quiet and empty the forest was, it was normally super loud and animals were everywhere but now there was not a creature in sight. Sukani found some other hunters and asked if they had seen any creatures but they said they hadn't, in the distance they heard some hunters screaming and yelling for help. Sukani and the others rushed towards the origin of the noise and saw a huge creature attacking some hunters, Sukani rushed at the beast and drove her spear straight into one of it's huge eyes causing it to scream out in pain. The creature ran off towards the coast, Sukani helped the people who were attacked up off the ground. Sukani asked the hunters what had happened but they had no memory of what had happened before the creature ran off towards the coast, Sukani was puzzled and simply took them back to the village so they could rest. By the time nightfall had arrived not a single animal had been caught on the Northern side of the island, everyone was enraged and thought the Southern side had something to do with it. Sukani knew the lack of animals had something to do with that creature, it looked like an octopus fused with a barracuda fused with a bear, it was horrifying and disgusting. Sukani went back to her house and fell asleep on her bed...To be continued.
