The end is in sight !

October's quizzes have been completed and scheduled for release at 0800 (UK time) on the appropriate day. This just leaves November and December to complete and then I will be free of the chains around me that is "On This Day"

This means that at this time I have...

2 months to go, or....

9 weeks to go, or....

61 days to go, or....

1464 hours to go, or....

87,840 minutes to go, or......well you get the idea, I'm counting down to the end.

It's been a rocky road to be honest, some days I just couldn't be bothered and wondered if it was worthwhile, other days I knocked out 3 or 4 of the quizzes and then had a bit of breathing space for a few days.

And so my thoughts go towards next year. I have a few ideas for my next challenge for myself. They aren't as intensive as this one however, and I will NOT be doing a quiz EVERY day. I have decided to pace myself a little and concentrate on quality rather than quantity.

I've conducted a little research (mainly by searching the lists of quizzes if I'm honest) and I think I've found a subject that isn't completely represented on Jetpunk and isn't "done to death" as some quizzes are.

I'm not going to reveal my ideas yet, as I would like to make my next series of quizzes without looking like I've copied others. However there may well be a couple in the series that have been done to a certain extent by another member. I'd like to put on record that I won't be copying any quizzes intentionally, however there may well be coincidental questions. If I find a quiz made previously about the same thing, I will put a link to that quiz in the caveats. Hopefully this will clarify any misunderstanding

I don't want to sound ungrateful (because I'm not) but I'm also hoping that next years (or however long it takes) challenge will have a better "take rate" than the On This Day quizzes. They are averaging around 5 takes each, this doesn't sound a lot but taken over 366 days adds up to almost 2,000 takes, not too bad at all ! Hopefully the series will gain enough momentum for every member to take a quiz on their birthday, therefore adding takes to my profile every year.
