Well Andrew Jackson had 103 duels, so it's not too far fetched for President Jackson to kill a man!

Seems impossible that he fought 103 duels unless both he and all the people he fought against were terrible shots.

This is taken from the link provided by BishnuMcGee:

"He challenged his foes to duels — more than 100 of them (one opponent even died!). However, for the most part, people would stand and fire their gun in the air or purposefully miss their opponent, making the duel more about a test of courage when one’s honor was at stake or their reputation was threatened"

Wow. Andrew Jackson is savage. For a president, he must've kept that secret for a long time. And I highly doubt that electric fans sell well in South Korea.

About #229

1.Some people tried to commit suicide together in South Korea. They turned on the fan in a closed room, and slept. What happened? One of them woke up in the night, and turned off the fan.

2.And as of today, almost nobody belives that.

3.Some of the Japanese people also belived in that.

4.But it is definately true that you have a very big chance of catching a cold when you sleep with the fan turned on!

Not sure, but I think they are able to confirm only 53. As said before, he's marked insane and his confessions would likely not have been counted.

Fun fact about the Canadian flag, based on my memory from Social Studies: The Canadian flag was replaced in 1965 largely because French Canada (Quebec) wasn't too keen on keeping the British as part of the national identity. The government held a write-in flag contest for schools across Canada. They all sucked, apparently, and one of the guys on the committee overseeing the contest just pushed his nephew's flag to the top of the pile. It was a red maple leaf with two blue bars on either side. It looked awful, but the symbolism was nice. So they made it all red and white and Bob's your uncle, the iconic Canadian flag.

if anyone is wondering about #226, it's because France owns a part of South America called French Guiana, kind of like how the USA owns Alaska. French Guiana has a significantly longer border with Brazil than mainland France has with either Spain or Germany.
