Northern Africa needs to chill with the red yellow green color scheme lmao. I also cannot for the life of me see a single difference between the flags of Chad and Romania.
I dont know if its correct, but i’ve heard that all the african flags with a red yellow green color scheme is from Ethiopia, when every single country in colonized except for Ethiopia, which inspired almost every other african flag.
I completed this quiz a few times now but I wonder could there be a randomized version . After a few attempts it is easy to remember the order of the countries .
The flag of the Vatican City is wrong, the inside of the Papal Tiara should be white, not red. It has been incorrect on Wikipedia for years, and it has just been noticed and fixed.
also a funny way to play is to zoom out the page as much as your browser would let you so you don't have to scroll as much, at the cost of typing completely blind. I got 4:58 doing that
This is because quizmaster chooses the flag of the rulers. The U.S. installed administration doesn’t govern anymore and therefore Afghanistan’s flag , its the taliban’s
Bolivia really stumped me. I had 195/196 flags guessed correctly and I just could not figure out that final flag. For some reason I was convinced it was a European flag. Ended up getting all of them in the end though. Thanks geography hyperfixation!
The reason why the coat of arms aren’t on Peru or Bolivia’s flags is because coat of arms are only used on flags at official and/or government events or buildings. This quiz uses the more comment civil flags that civilians will have that don’t have a coat of arms
These ought to be in alphabetical order. It would be a useful means of remembering both the full list of countries as well as the flags. As it is, I'm just memorizing an arbitrary order of countries the names of which I already know. It's not necessary to know the flags AT ALL to do this quiz. Just memorize the order the countries are listed. Counter productive.
It's a lot easier to just memorize the design of the flag than it is to memorize a list of flags. If you know the flags, which after taking quizzes like this you will, then it's fairly simple to get 196/196. Also, if you have it in alphabetical order, then that's another way for people to just memorize it in a certain order.
The Vatican City flag is incorrect. If you got it from Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons before 2022, it is incorrect as it shows the bottom of the tiara as red and the wrong shade of yellow, a mistake that was only noticed recently.

Better change the South Sudan flag as they’ve said the dark blue variant of the flag is not the official flag. The light blue variant is the official South Sudanese flag.
If you'd read the comments above before posting, you'd see that the users Ryanlee, ChildConsumer and unimp0rtant have all posted faster times, in addition to unimp0rtant stating they know people with quicker times than them. So, to answer your question, yes, someone did do it faster.
Got 195/196, just because the "flag" of Afghnistan wasn't correct. Like what is that, it's just words. Can you please change the flag to Afghanistans real flag, with the green, red and black, and the thing in the middle. It was super confusing, otherwise I would've gotten a 100% on the quiz.
What's funny is that I always say that Cuba is Costa Rica when it comes to flags, but I always end up getting it in the end. Great quiz, simple quiz, I'm making progress. I have got 191 right so far. Just five more to go. Lots of improvement from the past, all I could do on my first attempt was 53.
I got 196/196 in 4:59 seconds and I'm 14 I've recently been trying to get better at flags and countries, my next goals is to do all 196 capitals as I have mastered my flags, and countries names and locations.
Finally getting around to learning these, still struggling to remember which red-yellow-green flag goes with which West African country. I wonder if a randomized version of this quiz is possible so the order of countries can't be memorized?
Day 1 of learning the flags and I got 49/196, very impressed by all of the 100%’s. Last year I learned all of the countries in the world and I’m trying to increase my geography knowledge :)
145/196 not bad, could have done better with more time.
13:47
(This is not a joke, I actually did)
Best Time 4:35

You scored 196/196 = 100%
10.4% of test takers also scored 100%
The average score is 95
Your high score is 196
Your fastest time is 11:45
But at least you did it faster than my 9:25.
sitting at 19%
