I'm sure the reason "I Can't Drive" is so low is that people who know it know that "I"in this phrase is the word, so does not stand for anything. So, they type "cant drive", then give up.
Exactly. I typed Can't Drive and Can Drive, then gave up. The "I" should not be required since it does not stand for anything but is a complete word in itself. All the other answers require only the words represented by initials to be entered. Incidentally, 15 minutes for this quiz? I'm guessing Quizmaster intended a 5 minute timer and hit 15 by mistake. I know I had about 10 minutes left when I finished.
I have only heard about it on this site (though I did know x degrees of separation). And no idea what the I cant drive is. (But if I knew I would have the issue of leaving out the I or claiming that it shouldnt be here or any other weird complaints that were mentioned about it). They were the only two I missed besides summer of love (silly, because I was thinking about it, bug somehow had 66 in my head, so thought perhaps that was the start of an era with a certain name starting the year after *facepalm*) and the 88 piano keys. I had a tough time coming up with usable words in english starting with a k, got kind of stuck on king.
got 20 right though, so far above average :) didnt think with 8 minutes remaining I would think of anymore, but managed to squeeze out 4 or 5 more.
it's the idea (game?) that any actor in Hollywood can be connected by movies they've appeared in to Kevin Bacon in six movies or less.
So, for instance, take a random actor: Jackie Chan
He was in "The Cannonball Run" with Burt Reynolds, who was in "Starting Over" with Kevin Bacon
or, Amy Poehler was in "Inside Out" with Diane Lane, who was in "My Dog Skip" Kevin Bacon.
(I literally just googled a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon calculator and spent a good 10 minutes putting random people through it. 2 degrees of separation was the most of any of them. Hollywood's a small world, I guess)
Around the W in 80 D; I can't think on any instance in which it is worded the other way. It just seems so awkward, maybe it's just me.
