Kinda annoying that you can't choose the state you want, half the ones I knew I couldn't get to because I got stuck on another state.

49/50 - not bad for a non-american, but the new england ones get a bit confusing as there is so many so close together. Missed New Jersey - guessed Delaware.

You should now especially New England, there was first stanes... I'm not American. I'm Polish, i know it from history :D The worse thing to known is in central where was Lousiana Colony: Colorado, Kansas and going on. In this quiz I have 49/50 I missed Minnesota because I'm drunk now and i guess there Mississippi (epic fail) :P Sorry for my bad english

49/50, Canadian. I mixed up Wyoming and Colorado. I'd like to refer to Weird Al's song "I'll Sue Ya" now... "I'm suing Colorado, because it looks a bit too much like Wyoming".

I always mix up Wyoming and Colorado. Wyoming just sounds more southern, so out of the two, I always think Wyoming would be further south. Not the case. (Go ahead and try it: say "Wyoming" without sounding or feeling southern).

scrolling down the list for the right state is the most annoying part for me.but i still got all 50 not bad for a brit

I'm from the UK and I got 40/50 How is Maine the least gotten one? It's right the east end of the USA!

It takes longer to get there so if people run out of time they get it wrong

Its all about mouse dexterity. One way to speed it up is to scroll to bottom of the list and skip the countries that don't appear. They'll eventually come back around.

didn't love the drop down. I got them all, but I bet I could have typed them quicker.

It's really a bad design. I know all 50 states by heart "like the back of my hand". I travel to every state at least twice a year due to my job. On a desk top, this might be ok (still not great) but like most of you, im confident, I do stuff like this on my phone during my wait time. Not phone friendly at all! I'm not 9 or from another country (which sounds suspicious to me). I usually disregard such comments when everyone who does 50/50 fall in that category. But I KNOW I know the states of the United Stated of America.

Less than 40% each on Alaska and Hawaii?!?

Maybe it's because they are confused by the placement on the map and think that these are territories just west of Mexico? That's my only guess.

I too am confused by this! Hawaii is one of the most unique looking states. It is one that I would have been able to guess right as a kid before I know 75% of the states!

feel the same way when I drive through it going to Connecticut from Massachusetts.

I still get New Hampshire and Vermont confused, and I've lived in the states for 30 years.

Had trouble by clicking Mississippi when going for Missouri because they are both abbreviated the same way. I just saw the "Miss." and went with it not thinking twice that "Missouri" could be spelled out on the other side of the list. Pretty frustrating considering I live in Kansas. I stinking know that it is Missouri to the east of us. Needs to be fixed some how.

I agree. I got them all, but not seeing the full name may be a little hard for people who aren't native to the area region the map is about.
