And the instructions also say "A list of all words that end in "unk" with 7 or fewer letters. According to the Scrabble word list. I also added one neologism and removed one strange derogatory term." So "monk" clearly doesn't.
Thunk is also the sound of something being put down. Plunk is more the act of putting it down. "Just plunk it down right there". Thunk is the sound it makes.
agree... it was more obvious to me than some others. like lunk and crunk, and as for typing random letters... that's a cop out, and skews the results for folk who answer to the best of their ability
Knew some of them, and then it was all a matter of guessing to get most of the other ones. Didn't even know the word spelunk existed, and I agree about the un- words being a bit of a stretch
Only missed 4 ! not bad for a non native english speaker :) Never heard of lunk and also missed clunk (I made so many different "noises"like cachunk... kaplunk, any of those noises would make me think the car needs repair hahah) spunk and slunk (did know what moxie was, but didnt know furtively)
Ok I'll stop
Monk doesn't end with -unk..."
Ahh but title says RHYMES with punk, which monk surely does.
Literally says "Did you mean "spelunk?"
