Just a small update, as per the Wikipedia article. Religious demographics aren't always consistent in each country, which is difficult in Africa and Asia where small fractions of a percent decide whether the country makes the list or not.
Thank you to everyone who has taken this quiz over the years :D
Made it! The width of the second set helpe me guess St Vincent. Of the 4 countries with the word 'Islamic' in the official name, only 1 is in this list!
According to Wikipedia (citing a book about religion in Southeast Asia and the Pacific), there's a mosque in the capital and about 50 followers, which would make the population about 0.5% Muslim.
No, but it's hard to compete with numbers such as 98.8%, (the lowest percentage of Muslims included for Asia). I believe immigration to Saudi Arabia probably lowered the overall Islamic population in relation to other religions, as immigrants coming from India, Nepal, etc. are predominately Hindu.
Just looked it up. While all Saudi Citizens are Muslim by law, this isn't necessarily true. Also, a great number of people in Saudi Arabia are not citizens and practice other religions.
It's by the percentage of the country that follows Islam, not the number of people. Islam is not a popular religion in Oceania, and so Tuvalu, a very small country with 50 Muslims, still made the list. On the other hand, the United States is a very large country and has a somewhat large Muslim population, but the percentage of Muslims is still smaller than, say, Canada.
Also Iraq shouldn't be on this. Out of all the Arab Countries it's very diverse, with a high atheist population and Jewish, Christian and Yezidi within the northern part
I have some doubt that Iraq is 99% Muslim. Maybe the government changed the statistics? Maybe the collector of this data made a mistake because of the political situation? I cannot say for sure, but it is impossible for a quiz like this to be 100% accurate.
This is likely due to higher rates of immigration to Canada versus the US in the past two decades. Canada's immigration rate has been on average more than twice as high than the US' in the 21st Century, for each year. It's interesting, because Islam was historically better established in the US than Canada during the 20th Century due to the large numbers of African-American converts to Islam (today around 25% of American Muslims are from this background).
Good point/question. What is important to remember is that the numbers on this quiz reflect the official census, which in theory should try to capture reality. In the case of the Maldives, the census shows that 100% of the Maldives are Maldivians, for example, when there are thousands of foreign workers who are not being counted. Likewise, unofficial studies show that around 0.3 or 0.4% of Maldivians are Christians, although the census recorded 100% of the population being Muslims (remember in a pretend scenario where one or two or ten people aren't Muslim, it still rounds up to 100%).

Assuming you mean less than 0.1%, shouldn't it be '<0.1%'?
Nice quiz by the way.
Great quiz though
Thanks for playing :)
