Fill in the blank: "They can take our lives, but they can never take our __________"
Really! You can't accept "worm" for What animal makes silk? I tried worm and then spider. Neither worked, so I said screw it...I must have been misinformed all these years.
I've had fondue many times but never heard of Chinese hot pot - had to look that up after it was my one fail on this quiz. It seems to involve dipping bits of things into a communal stock pot - so I guess that's why 'fondue'.
I eventually but in Bison, but a lot of people consider the Moose the largest land animal in North America. Some bison weigh more than an adult bull moose, but a bull moose is unquestionably taller than the biggest bison and can occasionally outweigh many bison.
Surely there are a huge number of correct answers to the silk question. Spider, for example. To quote the Wikipedia page on silk: "Silk production also occurs in Hymenoptera (bees, wasps, and ants), silverfish, mayflies, thrips, leafhoppers, beetles, lacewings, fleas, flies, and midges. Other types of arthropod produce silk, most notably various arachnids such as spiders (see spider silk)."
I tried Fibonacci's birthday for March 14th. In retrospect, that was pretty stupid because it wouldn't be on the 14th, he would have probably been born on the 1st, the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 13th, or the 21st.
Looking back this comment is comical. I actual did worse when I took it in February than when I took it in 2015. SMH. Apparently in February I hadn't figured out that you could see the scores from previous times.
Funny you ask that on the Ides of March. It's a nerdy pop culture holiday (like Star Wars Day, aka May the 4th). No bank, government, or stock market officially observes it.

This beats or equals 48.7% of test takers
The average score is 13
Your high score is 16. I beat less than half of test takers but beat the average score by three points...
