To quote Wikipedia: "Ireland" is the official name of the country in English. "Republic of Ireland" (the official description in English) and "Éire" (the official name in Irish) have sometimes been used unofficially to distinguish the state from the larger island of Ireland, however, this is officially deprecated.
I would be nice if you include the original name in the original language, for example República Oriental del Uruguay instead of Oriental Republic of Uruguay

It’s pretty easy on most of them because they have “Republic” at the start of their names. Or “Kingdom”, “Principality”, and “State”.
Check this website, you should still accept things like "Republic of France", instead of just "French Republic",.
