Hiragana (+ Japanese) Reading Practice

Try to write in romaji this words or short phrases that are written in Hiragana characters, and then, try to guess their translation to English!
I know that many of these words should be written with a Kanji, but the purpose of this quiz is to learn Hiragana, that's why I write them using Hiragana.

Some words can be written without long vowels and some have to be written using them. Why 'ohayo', 'arigato' and 'sayonara' are ok, but 'getsuyobi' isn't?
