Should have gotten Hill Street Blues - one of my favorite shows of that day. But I got NYPD Blue stuck in my head and it wouldn't budge.

Kind of a subjective clue. My father considers Chiefs the best police drama of all time and it was on in the 80s. I know some people feel the same way about Miami Vice or 21 Jump Street, as well.

I would agree, I guessed a few other shows that I hear about much more often. I know the name hill street blues but I definitely haven't heard anyone say it's the best cop drama. a clue that is actually about the show might be good... although it wouldn't have helped me since I've never seen it.

Actually, now that you mention it, it is kind of weird to have an 80's T.V. quiz that doesn't have any Miami Vice questions. That show had a huge affect on the culture at the time.

Yeah, I just kept thinking "The Wire" wasn't in the 80s.

We all knew what you meant, but Leonardo DiCaprio was also an actor on Growing Pains for one season and I'm pretty sure he became a teen heartthrob.
