93%. Well it has been three years since this posted. So maybe the percentage has changed. But still, I can see what your saying. Only 7% didn't get hotdog. I am so ashamed. Hotdogs are awesome and yummy :)

I missed it because I didn't think to guess it. The clue was no help to me, being from England and all.

My friend told me when we were young that if you ate more than 6 hot dogs in a week that your chances of getting cancer/leukemia were increased to 90%. I've eaten more than 6 hot dogs in an afternoon. They are sooooo good. The cancer part isn't true, but I do believe they are extremely unhealthy.

My friends and I discovered a way to out-do the triple dog dare... a quadruple dog dare!

I have no idea what that question is about, thus I can't even say that I learned something.

One American kid says to another, "I dare you to do it." The second kid says,"I double dare you to do it." The first one comes back with, "I double-dog dare you to do it!" (And that's the end of it - none of this quadruple or infinity plus one stuff.) One always has to go through with a double-dog dare or be labeled a coward. It's one of the rules of childhood. However, a double-dog dare should not be taken lightly. It's reserved for only the most important and scary things, such as, "QM, I double-dog dare you to eat a Belgian waffle." It's usually something the first one thinks the second one won't do because it can also backfire. If a kid takes on a double-dog dare and succeeds, he might earn enough kid points to become the top dog of the group. I mean, this is important sociological and psychological stuff - I can't believe the rest of the world doesn't know about double-dog dares. Wow. :)

You forgot Triple Dog Dare. Flick: Are you kidding? Stick my tongue to that stupid pole? That's dumb! Schwartz: That's 'cause you know it'll stick! Flick: You're full of it! Schwartz: Oh yeah? Flick: Yeah! Schwartz: Well I double-DOG-dare ya! Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] NOW it was serious. A double-dog-dare. What else was there but a "triple dare you"? And then, the coup de grace of all dares, the sinister triple-dog-dare. Schwartz: I TRIPLE-dog-dare ya! Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] Schwartz created a slight breach of etiquette by skipping the triple dare and going right for the throat!

Maybe one more example dog food would have helped as Alpo means nothing to your UK audience. Pedigree Chum or Bakers Complete on the other hand.

My Dog is worried about the economy. It seems that the price of Alpo has gone up a buck a can. That's 7 dollars in Dog Money.

I always thought dog-eared just meant worn and tattered from use. I didn't think about the word originating from turning down corners of pages to mark one's place.

A few on here I haven't heard of Maximum dog, Alpo or Purina and Iditarod racer. I fluked the first one on a type in, got the second one by guessing answers I hadn't used, the last was totally new to me though. Good quiz.

Every time I hear about the Iditarod I start singing a slightly different version of the Beach Boys song, "I Get Around." "'ditarod, 'ditarod, Iditarod...'ditarod, 'ditarod, Iditarod, Iditarod, 'rod, 'rod,'rod, Iditarod..."
