You underestimate the power Michael Landon had on housewives of the time...

I feel like an idiot for getting the Cosby Show and not A Different World.

I used to love the Dukes of Hazzard when I was a child but it's hard to believe it was ever the 2nd highest rated show in America. Really must not have been anything on TV back then...

don't ruin this one by adding clues. More fun to see if you can just guess what they all were from memory... and also more fun to actually be able to see all the answers so you see the names light up when you type in the correct answer. With hints you have to scroll through 4 pages to see which year it was...

As a child of the 80's I am embarassed I did so poorly on this quiz. But then again the only shows I watched were The Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider.

I missed the Lanford reference completely. I guess I wasn't a big fan of the show.

"Sweater" was such the perfect hint for "Newhart" that I could not fathom any other answer! I also couldn't dislodge "Mork & Mindy" from my brain, thinking it must be the answer to either "alien" or "Colorado".

I think you should accept ''Magnum'' for ''Magnum, P.I.''.

"Thicke" would have been a much better clue for Growing Pains than "DiCaprio". It ran for 7 seasons and LD was only in it for the last one.

Harsh not allowing Magnun for magnum, PI
