1/3 of the English population dying is a common figure however there is a rather wide range of estimates for the percentage of people who actually died. If you insist on including one-third, please accept the fraction form, 1/3. Also for the North Sea Empire question, it was Sweyn Forkbeard who united England Denmark and Norway, even though it was for a brief period of 5 weeks it still counts.
