Húrin
A man of the house of Hador. Found the Nauglamír in Glaurung's hoard and brought it to Doriath.
Elu Thingol
King of Doriath. The Necklace was offered to him as a gift. He employed dwarves of Nogrod to remake the Nauglamír to bear the Silmaril.
Beren
A man of the house of Bëor. At the battle of Sarn Athrad he recovered the Nauglamír from a dwarven host which returned rom the sack of Menegroth. He brought the Necklace back to his wife, daughter of the slain King of Doriath.
Lúthien
Daughter of the King of Doriath.
Dior
Second King of Doriath. Inherited the Nauglamír after his mother's death.
Elwing
Princess of Doriath. Fled the second kinslaying to the havens of Sirion with the Nauglamír.
