Also called a blue grenadier, this fish is one of species used to make McDonalds' fish sandwiches.
Hoki
The babies of this oceanic mammal are born with thick white fur. They are born on the ice surface, and their mother nurses them for only 12 days.
Harp Seal
A species of bullhead sharks that have spiral flanges around the casing of their eggs.
Horn Shark
They are related to cods, but a major difference is that fillets of this species are thinner and more fragile compared to that of cod.
Haddock
Their pectoral muscles allow them to jump several inches out of water to evade predators or to catch insects for food.
Hatchetfish
The reef triggerifish's Hawaiian name is especially long, and is translated to "triggerfish with a snout like a pig". Type its Hawaiian name.
Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa
This order of sea urchins is usually oval or heart shaped, with a star-like pattern on its body.
Heart Urchin
Only four species of this arthropod still exist today. They are known to arise out of the waters and spawn on beaches during high tides at full and new moons.
