I agree with alberici. Ahmedabad in India too, rather than Almadabad. Also, can you take the other cities surrounding Essen, Germany because the population usually applies to the North Rhine-Westphalia region.

"Kolkata" should be accepted for Calcutta.

66/70. :)

It must've taken some time to put together all of this. However, here are some suggestions (some minor, others more important):

Misspelled names

Sao Paolo > São Paolo

Osaka/kobe > Osaka/Kobe

Bogota > Bogotá

Algeris > Algiers

Almadabad > Ahmadabad or Ahmedabad (I've seen both spellings)

Chongq > Chongqing

Medellin > Medellín

thank you for the tips, and thanks for being polite about it!

Variant spellings, transliterations or name versions that should be accepted

Calcutta: Kolkata

Chennai: Madras

(You have accepted Bombay/Mumbai, but used the older name variant Calcutta and the newer name Chennai, which is inconsistent.)

Guangzhou: Canton

Yangon: Rangoon

Pusan: Busan

Other issues

When I wrote Berlin, Essen got accepted instead. I know about these city clusters, but Berlin can by no means be lumped together with Essen as they're in the opposite ends of Germany.

Otherwise fun quiz; I like geography! :)

Fun quiz. The errors help me learn better as I have to ponder them.
