Chess VS ChatGPT

I decided to play chess against ChatGPT, and decided to let it use all the illegal moves it wanted. At the end I may have decided to use a little bit of illegal moves myself, but I couldn't let an AI bot beat ME at chess!

Me: let's play chess, i'll start, e4

ChatGPT: Great! I'm up for a game of chess. You've started with e4, so I'll respond with e5.

Me: Nf3

ChatGPT: Good move! You've developed your knight and put pressure on my e5 pawn. I'll respond with Nc6, also developing my knight and defending my pawn.

Me: Bc4

ChatGPT: A strong move, developing your bishop and attacking my f7 pawn. I'll respond with Nf6, attacking your e4 pawn and also preparing to castle kingside.

I decided to play the Italian and go for a fried liver. Let's see how this plays out.

Me: Ng5

By some miracle, ChatGPT noticed the fried liver attack and blocked with his pawn. It was also at this point that ChatGPT started making some... illegal moves. I will start marking every move with arrows at this point as well.

Me: exd5

ChatGPT: Capturing my pawn with exd5, a good move. I'll recapture with my pawn, dxc4, opening up the c-file and putting some pressure on your pawn on c2.

Here, I decided to take with my e pawn. ChatGPT decided to be defiant, saying that they not only still have the pawn, but they are also opening the c-file, taking my bishop and putting pressure on my c2 pawn. They didn't open the c-file, and they aren't putting pressure on my c2 pawn.

Me: dxc6

ChatGPT: Taking my pawn with dxc6, a bold move that gains material but also weakens your pawn structure. I'll respond with Nxc6, attacking your queen and also threatening to fork your king and queen with my knight on d4.

As you can see, ChatGPT has gone off the rails and is just playing blind moves.

Here, we both decided to castle. But, ChatGPT forgot he had a bishop and decided to remove his bishop from the game. Alright then, more material for me.

ChatGPT: A good move, developing your knight and putting some pressure on my d5 pawn. I'll respond with Bb4, pinning your knight to your queen and also attacking your c2 pawn.

Everything ChatGPT said here was wrong. Everything. If you can't understand what's going on here, don't worry, I can't either.

Nope. ChatGPT just got a bishop from the shadow realm. At least I can take it.

Oh, come on! I completely forgot that the knights could move like that!

I did it! I won against ChatGPT!!!

Oh. Here I got a little bit mad, so I started to... take after ChatGPT.

Well that didn't work out very well. Just lost a knight.

It played a legal move, but EVERYTHING else was wrong.
