Food and Their Inventors

There is almost no way this has never been said before, but have you ever wondered how food gets invented? Like do you think some person was just experimenting with eggs, flour, and all the other ingredients to make a cake?

I wonder if random chance made them put the ingredients and how much the exact ratio of food to make it. It's kind of crazy when you think about it, like theoretically I could be fooling around with an orange and apple juice and eggs when wabam! New food. This stuff hurts my brain.
