Regarding #580, I wouldn't read too much into this. The U.S. tax code has closed most of the obvious loopholes. I would gladly base our company in Delaware if it saved us in taxes, but it wouldn't save us a dime. You have to be mega-rich for this to even be a factor.

Hey Master of All Quizzes, here's a fact!

Gann Valley, Buffalo County, South Dakota is the smallest county seat in the US, with just 14 people. However, the nearby town of Fort Thompson (also in Buffalo County) has 1,282 people.

Mentone TX (pop 10) is the seat of Loving County (pop 82), which I'm told are the least populous county seat and county in USA. I drove along every road in Loving County (easy and quick to do) and it sure was empty. All the shops in Mentone were shut, and the only location with any activity (or people) that I could see was the city hall.

Qanaq has 2 very common letters, while jazz only has one, for xylyl, after exhausting there vowels, they'd figure out there's y. ZZZ isn't a word

That is a reconstruct of the flag seen on the bank note.

(I made it myself, and now realize it should be puffier and more central, but you get the gist. Anyway, I still think the "Smile" flag is correct.)

In #577 what does the "extend pinky finger" part mean?
+1
Level 65
Oct 17, 2022
This refers to hoity toity behavior due to fat ducats.

The extending of the pinkie finger whilst enjoying a cuppa is considered a hallmark of the upper class.

Here, it refers to the formerly wee Google's offer being declined, but time passes, and the now buff Google is bathing in gloriously obscene tonnes of cheese.

To be honest, I think the only reason Google offered to sell themselves to Excite is because they needed money to run the company. I don't think Google's search engine was nearly as sophisticated in 1998 as it is today. I assume that if Excite did not reject the offer, Google still would've been a separate company, but with more money to start off.
