There are an estimated 3.04 trillion trees on Earth. (Slightly more thanks to JetPunk users like you!)

The Patagonian toothfish was rebranded as "Chilean sea bass" to make it more appealing in the American seafood market. This is probably the worst thing that has ever happened to the Patagonian toothfish.

Cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts, kale, and collard greens are all different cultivars of the same species, Brassica oleracea.

The airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow is about 11 meters per second (24 miles per hour).

Thanks to its many overseas territories, France has more time zones than any country on Earth. With 12 time zones, it has one more than Russia and the United States, which have 11.
What does a laden swallow load itself with? Would you also make the distinction between a laden and unladen cheetah? One with an animal in its mouth and one without? It seems a weird wording.
But many of these 'overseas territories' are not actually part of France (hence the word 'overseas'). The United Kingdom with its Overseas Territories combined have nine time zones.
France also took control of enormous areas and didn't keep them (Louisiana, Indochina, African territories...). The UK also took control of many tiny islands and kept them (Tristan da Cunha, Falklands, Caribbean and Pacific islands...).
But there are more British overseas territories (14) than there are French territories. In fact the BOTs are located all around the globe, such that the Sun is always shining on some British territory at any time of day.

I'm quite sure that they're being cut down faster than JetPunk is planting them. Instead of "(Slightly more...)" how about ("That number is declining slightly slower thanks to JetPunk users like you!)"?
I am all for nitpicking, but I don't think that is necessary. It's not talking about the rate of change anywhere, so I don't see why it should matter if the number of trees are decreasing. Regardless, more trees exist than the amount that would had JetPunk not planted trees.
