if you cross the river styx youre not in hades. hades was the god of the underworld, tartarus would be more appropriate

No. The underworld, ruled by Hades and also referred to by his name, was where all the dead went. Tartarus was an area within the underworld somewhat analogous to the Christian hell, in that it was a place of suffering for the wicked, but it also was the prison of the Titans.

It depends on the River Styx if you are talking greek or roman. I thought it would be considered roman and you would wind up in Heresy the sixth circle of hell after crossing Styx in Wrath, the fifth circle. I related it to Inferno of the Divine Comedy.

For the sake of simplification, you could also call that "Hell" or "Greek Hell", that would be a great way to let people know that they think about the right thing when they try to type it...

I kept reading the question as "What's Japan's official airport" in stead of "sport". I was kicking myself for not being able to remember the other airport in Tokyo other than Narita, now I'm kicking myself for not being able to read.

Sorry Larry...but Sumo is THE national sport. Baseball might have more fans, but Sumo is considered by the Japanese to be their national sport due it's origins being from Japan and not imported.

The Jolly Roger is the most common known pirate flag but not "the pirate flag". There are many pirate flags, just about each pirate ship had its own. That would suggest it is the only flag pirates displayed which is certainly untrue.

I thought the Jolly Roger was the name of Captain Hook's ship and the generic pirate flag was the "skull and crossbones." Also, the underworld in Greek mythology is called Tartarus. Hades is the God of the underworld. As time went on people would say that when you die you get "sent to Hades" and soon the God and his realm were interchangeable.

Sadly, their aggressive litigious approach led to them being classified as an official religion in the US in 1993. Ridiculous, as they are able to take advantage of non-profit status for tax purposes. Read a couple books about people who escaped from their clutches and it's compelling and scary stuff.
