I'm a civilised person who doesn't know anything about One Direction or Starbucks sizes, but I wouldn't assume that all civilised people know nothing about them
Good one! I don't care about missing nine out of ten answers about dodge ball or whatever one direction is and when I go to Starbucks I order a 'large'. However I'm irked with myself that I missed Dusseldorf and Hamburg and mortified that I couldn't remember Staten Island!
I kicked myself when I realised I'd missed off humans. I was trying baboons, mandrills, every other species of ape I could think of except the one I am.
Can you please accept "faith" or "declaration of faith" or "declaration" for Islam's five pillars? I tried so many variations on these phrases because that was what I was taught the belief pillar was called. Specifically because you have to make a declaration of faith ("there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.") The process of actually making this declaration is integral to becoming and being a Muslim.
Believe and faith is the same word in my language, aswell as religion...(Though in a broad sense faith could also be translated with a word meaning trust)
I also sometimes see the shahadah translated as "monotheism," since what you are declaring is belief in Allah and only Allah. Similar to the first commandment.
Proud to say I got all of them because I don't rely on stereotypes to define who I am, I look through the mask media puts on good things to make them seem bad :).
Another snobby jetpunker proud of their own ignorance. Snobby ignorance is a bad look: it denigrates others while simultaneously displaying a lack of class and character
same haha, thought that is a weird question, espicially without a city specified how could I answer that. But then it clicked (after a bit more staring and wondering)
2. I'm a civilized person. Of course I have no idea who's in One Direction.
