Damn, I knew about Michelangelo's David but couldn't think of any other scultor in the Renaissance... so I started going through the other ninja turtles but stopped before I reached Donatello *headdesk*.

Verrocchio, yes, but Bernini is a (or rather, the) Baroque sculptor.

"Tribe that the giant came from" I tried Philistia. That didn't work, so I tried "Philistine", since he was a Philistine. No good. The correct answer is "Philistines", but I didn't try that since it doesn't make sense the way the question was asked. I gave up, figuring that it was going to super specific, like Ashdod or Gath (he was from Gath). But no, it was looking for the plural demonym for members of the tribe rather than the name of the tribe.

I had the exact same problem. I would have thought that the singular should be accepted at least.

It was actually her dad that requested the foreskins. :)

Maybe Gay Focker would have done better with the in-laws if he had a stash of foreskins. Just in case.

Did David get paid for slaying those 200 guys? No, but he got to keep the tips.

Ancient Jews had a serious fetish for genital mutilation. Because the voices in their head told them to. Totally sane.

Why you need to be so snarky all the time is beyond me. Live and let live, hmm?

Kalbahamut, the USA still has a serious fetish for genital mutilation. Just for male babies, though. We're the only country that still cuts babies. Us and Israel. Weird.

I take particular umbrage at the fact that an atheist has the unmitigated gall to criticize religious the practices of believers. I strongly agree with the commenter who suggested that you stay the HELL off of this site!!! - There are many others to choose from and I am sick and tired of your pejorative, insulting and ignorant comments about other people's religious beliefs. (And, yes quiz master, you may censor this as you often do when anyone disagrees)

I once took a history test years ago in high school. I would have gotten 100%, but I spelled his name "MichAelangelo", instead of without that "A"....... I've never forgotten how to spell his name since...
