Fun fact (relating to question 1): The J in his name come's from his father's name, Julius Oppenheimer. However, Oppenheimer, as well as many others, claimed the J in his name didn't stand for anything, even though it was his legal first name.

Fun Fact! While the J in Oppenheimer stands for Julius, the S in Truman's name doesn't stand for anything! His middle name was literally just 'S'.
