OK but their first title so in 1929 is not considered as a really title bescause it was not professional league. In France, Marseille is considered as the 9 titles winning. No more.
And for example St Etienne win 10 times this titles, and because of that, there is a star on their logo that prouve this.
And on Marseille's logo, their only just one star for the Champions League 1993, but no other star ;)
Take a look to this : http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/FootballFicheClub6.html : Championnat ->9
A star on the team's logo does not prove something, I'm sorry. Clubs are free to change their logos and put symbols on it as long as they like and don't diminish other clubs. Also, in Brazil, we have regional championships. They've existed since before soccer turned professional here, and these titles are not desconsidered by Brazilian Football Confederation. What I mean is, do you know how many titles the governing body of french football (French Football Federation) consider Marseille to have? I couldn't find this info :\ Thanks
