Since the beginning of it's history, the U.S has always seemed to find its way in a whole mess of trouble, and has made many enemies along the path to modern superpowerdom. How many current and historical enemies and rivals of the United States can YOU name?
Grenada was not an enemy of the US. Reagan sent troops in October 1983 to rescue its Premier, Maurice Bishop, who had been been incarcerated by one of his own. If Grenada had been an enemy nation Reagan would not have done so (granted, there was no love lost after the US refused to assist Bishop after he executed a coup against Gairy, but there were no hostilities between the two nations).
I have always loved your work but the U.S and Cuba as well as Vietnam have been building relations. Keeping Cuba would be good but maybe in a few months (depending) A removal of Vietnam could be possible.
Yugoslavia wasn't really a US enemy during the Cold War. They claimed a position of neutrality, but during Tito's reign usually were actually closer to Washington than they were to Moscow.
Thank you!
