Hint
Answer
The biggest team in the East Midlands. My favourite manager of all time produced his 'Mona Lisa' there.
Nottingham Forest
In a world of red, blue and white kits, it stands out as unique. To some the place is chavvy, but to me its a town full of character, arcades and of the 1953 FA Cup aka The Stanley Matthews Final.
Blackpool
The biggest team in the West Midlands. Mention the name Peter Withe to any fan or the year 1982, and see a smile appear.
Aston Villa
Maybe the greatest team in England to have never won the league, they do boast 4 FA Cups in their arsenal, and the only home of one of Jordan's favourite strikers of all time in Nat Lofthouse.
Bolton Wanderers
Dislike them. Obsessed with data. One of my least favourite stadiums in the league, one of too many London teams knocking around in the prem.
Brentford
*does a cockney accent* 'Well we might not have ever won a league but Bobby and Geoff in '66 brought the glory for the country and they were part of our mob so that's bigger than any title. No fans as good as us in the country, propa east end london'.
West Ham United
2004 League Cup Winners and 2006 Runners Up to Sevilla. Been a few years since premier league football but nearly avoided the playoffs last year.
Middlesbrough
Some of the greatest fans in the country and a big club but haven't won anything in a long time, but under their new owners it looks like they could again. Proud to have called it my local team.
Newcastle United
If their rivals are overrated, then these top the lot. reputation as racist thugs who are more known for fan violence than any names who have played for this London club.
Millwall FC
Did well to stay in the Premier League as long as they did, despite their ugly football. My family support the other team in the city so i'm supposed to dislike them, but i don't.
Stoke City
Not as big as their rivals from up the road, but have won over 10 trophies. Back in the championship now so maybe they will go up again. Prime documentary didn't do them any favours.
Sunderland
Only been in the top division once but spent 34 years there between 1967 to 2001. This midlands (?) club's only trophy came in 1987 FA Cup against Spurs.
Coventry City
Good footballing history, plenty of trophies. Were the yo-yo but after failed promotion last year. Had one of Jordan's favourite British footballers even in Bryan Robson before he went to Manchester United, and indeed its a former United player as manager looking to get them promoted.
West Brom Albion
Somehow won the community shield despite not coming close to winning the fa cup or league. Look like they have some stability in the prem now after 4 years.
Brighton & Hove Albion
No trophies. No atmosphere. Football vlogger and Elton John and that's about it. Hope to not see them back in the big time for a while.
Watford
Most successful team in Wales. Languishing in the lower ends of the championship for last couple of seasons.
Cardiff City
Did well to survive in the premier league for so long, even getting Europa league one year. Maybe they will be back soon, hopefully with a bit more attack than recent years. One positive to championship though is their league clashes with their biggest rival that we haven't seen in a while.
Burnley
Had some iconic premier league players, but not happy to see them back in the Premier League.
Fulham
Great club with great fans, suffered 2nd season syndrome recently. Great city, hope they'll be back in the premier league soon, ideally with more exciting players.
Sheffield United
Nice story but don't like the place, don't like the players, and really don't like the stadium. Glad they didn't get promoted.
Luton Town
Best team in the country in the late 60s / early 70s under Revie. Some great anthems.
Leeds United
Sick of them being in the premier league (again). Tiny stadium, no atmosphere.
AFC Bournemouth
The worse season in premier league history. Treated my favourite manager badly but he would mould their rivals into the greatest team in Europe.
Derby County
Little to no footballing heritage in my view except a 2nd place finish pre-WW1. I wish they would achieve more success despite them being a little too lefty for my liking. I'd like to think i'd enjoy seeing them in the premier league but perhaps not as much as other clubs.
Bristol City
Club with great history, with plenty of famous fans. Fantastic yet cheap city near the wonderful peak district, hope they will get promoted to the championship next year.
Sheffield Wednesday
Thought they were Man City in 2012, absolute disaster. London club with no trophies in their history, like to think Chelsea are their rivals.
Queens Park Rangers
No trophies, bit of a nothing London club. Made a good documentary on Prime in 2020 (?). Good atmosphere apparently but don't like the view from the stands. Good young players.
Crystal Palace
No trophies but did lose the 2014 FA Cup final. After winning League One in 2021, the club survived relegation in 2022 and will hope to reach the Premier League for the first time since 2015.
Hull City
Biggest team in England in my opinion. Biggest team in England by fact (trophies).
Liverpool
5000-1. Greatest sporting story i've known i think. Used to live very close to the ground.
Leicester City
Begrudgingly have to admit they do have history and do have good fans, arguably even more lefty than their cross-park rivals. Many false dawns since their last trophy.
Everton
Always like to see them do well, but like to see them do badly with Bridge-boy pipes up about Liverpool.
Birmingham City
The kings of the yo-yo. Middle of no where. Don't wanna see them back for a long time.
Norwich City
Fantastic youth system, and good league history though they have never won it. Not as successful as their rivals, who are the opposite to them in terms of stereotypes.
Southampton
Had history before 2004, but that's when things really kicked off. The last 20 or so years have left them being one of the most successful teams in England.
Chelsea
Currently managed by Mark Hughes. Lost the Capital One Cup final in 2013. Unique kit similar to Waterloo Road football team's kit.
Bradford City
Great stadium, great manager, possibility to compete with Liverpool and city in the coming years if they keep the key players and keep adding good players to the squad.
Tottenham Hotspur
Played some sexy football in 2013, got a league cup trophy for their efforts. Nice city.
Swansea City
Soon to be one of my local clubs. The great enemy, but very similar to Liverpool.
Manchester United
Only southern club to have won more than 5 trophies other than Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs. The most northern yet southern city out there, full of shipbuilders.
Portsmouth
Former Europa League Winners. Load of tractors.
Ipswich Town
They do have some history pre-2008 but since their 2008 takeover feel like they have lost some soul. Can't criticise them or you are considered 'jealous'.
Manchester City
Big club. One of my favourite teams to watch in the Premier League growing up. Hope they return there soon. I will be attending a few of their games in the near future.
Blackburn Rovers
Premier league club throughout my childhood. Won the FA Cup in 2013. Promoted to the championship last year, hope they will get promoted once more.
Wigan Athletic
The OG kings of England.
Preston North End
Had some of the greatest names in Premier League history. Stadium change fucked them.
Arsenal
Think Bowler is from there. Had a bit of a premier league stint and their manager decided to move to Doveridge.
Reading FC
The 1924, 1925 and 1926 League three-peat remains one of English's football most underrated achievements.
Huddersfield Town
