Only found in southwestern Australia, this fish is normally deep olive purple to black, but can also be light brown in lighter environments.
Nightfish
Also called ribbon worms, they have existed since the Triassic period, with over 1300 species known in this phylum today. Tney have a stinging organ in their front end.

This fish is attributed to multiple incidents of seriously injuring or killing people, usually by leaping over the decks of boats and leaving puncture wounds where they pierce into people.
