I wouldn't say Luxembourg is very small one if you compare it to Kosice or other small towns here. I started guessing Monaco, San Marino..

Well, you can drive across the entire country in 40 minutes flat - quicker than it takes to drive across my home city - and in my book that makes it very small :)

I feel like the people in charge of this give the award to not-so-important cities in not-so-important countries just to spite the historically-very-important cities in the historically-very-important countries. No Barcelona, London, Rome, etc. but somehow Reykjavik, Valletta and Luxembourg, etc makes the list.

I felt a bit like that, but went to Plovdiv after I wrote this quiz (I was in the region anyway) and found it to be absolutely stunning and deserving of the award. It's probably best to visit these places first before deciding they must not be worth the title just because they're lesser known!
