At first, it sounds like a random jumble of letters thrown together in an incredibly incoherent way. And that's essentially what it is. But, believe it or not, and I know this will gobsmack you, but it actually has meaning. Well, from a certain point of view. Not to you, certainly. I'm willing to bet that there's over a 99.9999% chance that you've never heard or came remotely close to thinking about that word. And that's to be expected. Because I invented the word. But as you should have picked up on by now, it's not just an extraordinarily bizarre word, but something more. It is . . . something of a game. A simple game, yes, but still a game that I thought would be ever-so-mildly interesting. Melaflatchulum is straightforward: Pretend you have three people. One says a word. The next says the first word that comes to mind, and then the next does the same, and so on and so forth, until . . . well, whenever you want. The point is to see how far you've gotten from the original word. Here is an example:
Gorilla
Chimpanzee
Rainforest
Palm tree
Tuvalu
Australia
Kangaroo
Koala
San Diego Zoo
California
Gold Rush
Iron
Periodic Table
And that was a basic example. The goal here is to start a chain of Melaflatchulum in the comments, for me to say a random word, someone to reply with the first thing that comes to mind, and so on. So, go into the comments, and you'll see a comment from someone containing a random word, so reply with the first thing that comes to mind. I'll start it, and the hope is that it will continue for a lengthy period of time. Even if you have already commented numerous times, come back, see if anyone else has replied, and reply to their comment with the first thing you think of when they say that word. Now, if you understand, which I hope you do (and you probably should), let's get started!
Note: I will comment with a word. Click the "reply" button, but do not start a different comment chain. If you do, it will be deleted.

Edit: You changed it…
