I know the image source says that the depicted bird is a Common gull and not a Mew gull, but some authorities consider Mew gull to be the name for the whole species (rather than just the American subspecies), so I think that should be accepted as a type-in.
Also, the depicted species of Quetzal is a Golden-headed Quetzal. Thought you'd like to know as you included the species name in all other cases.
some too easy others too detailed. If it needs to be one type of penguin, shouldn;t all names be so detailed ? or otherwise, of course (if all need to be so detailed I would have had zero)
The success rate of some questions/answers definitely leaves you scratching your head, but then I remember ones like this that just seem obvious to me. But that's because I've collected world coins since I was a kid, and Guatemala's currency is quetzals, named for the national bird, which featured on most of their coinage for years.
Whenever I see an answer that is correctly guessed at a suspiciously high %, I try to remember that this site attracts people that frequently have wide-ranging areas of expertise and interest. What might seem incredibly obscure for the population in general, may not necessarily be so obscure to the JetPunk audience.
...which isn't to say there aren't folks on here who, for whatever reason, just need to get perfect scores (by whatever means necessary) on every quiz they take.
