Great quiz! Many people study scientists and their work without even knowing their first names! I think you should either expand this quiz or make a second one.
He was an inventor/aggressive buyer of other people's patents to develop further, not a scientist in the strict sense. Einstein, Newtown, Darwin, Pasteur and Copernicus, by contrast all developed major modern scientific theories (Relativity, gravity, evolution, etc.)
While we're at it, I suppose you want him to accept Chuck Darwin, Al Einstein, Lou Pasteur, Steve Hawking, Greg Mendel, Frank Crick, and Dick Feynman too?
Reminds me of the Bill and Ted Scene. Can you please accept Dave Beeth-Oven, Maxine of Arc, Herman the Kid, Bob "Genghis" Khan. So-crates Johnson, Dennis Frood. And, uh, uh... Abraham Lincoln.
Stop the crying!!!... the names are the names... how can you ask "can you accept Peter instead of Pierre?"... why not Patrick, Pumpkin or Pluto Curie... there all start with a P...
Please accept "Maria" for Marie Curie, as her real name was: when she was born - Maria Skłodowska; after marrying Pierre Curie - Maria Skłodowska-Curie. Also, please change the surname to the proper one as she never gave up her maiden name.
missed albert and max, also knew niels but now sure I would ve come up with it on my own. The others I just didnt know ( sometimes not even the last name) I got about half right. I m good with facts. Persons and history not so much (people come and go, facts/universal truths stay the same)
That show has been scientifically proven to be 87% less funny than the next worst thing on the box. Garbage, made for people with an undeveloped sense of humour. Or morons…
:/
Nikola Tesla
Dmitri Mendeleev
James Watson (co-'discoverer' of DNA with Frances Crick)
Robert Oppenheimer ?
Michael Faraday
I didn't have a clue past Pasteur, Curie, Hawkin, Darwin, Einstein and Newton. Oh Well. Now I know. :)
