Sticking with videogames, what of the Illusive Man from the Mass Effect series? Also, how about the Man with no Name played by Clint Eastwood in the Dollars series, and most famously in 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.' And I really would have loved to see Duff Man from the Simpsons, Powdered Toast Man from Ren and Stimpy, or my personal favorite, Really Really Big Man from Rocko's Modern Life. The hint could simply be, 'He's really big.'
Yeah I guess if we're being picky (and this is Jetpunk so picky is status quo), the clue should probably read "Da Vinci's DRAWING of a symmetrical man", and the answer should include the word man, like the rest.
Without a doubt batman is a superhero! Although he does use high tech gear, he does also fight using mostly hand to hand combat. If you are discrediting this as an acceptable superpower/enhanced ability you call daredevil essentially a glorified blind man, green arrow a rogue archer, hawkeye a kid who never got to play the cowboy in cowboys and indians, and black widow an everyday woman with a strength in hand to hand combat. I know that the jumps I have made are very extreme, however so is disclaiming batman as a superhero...
Same, never hear of kolaid man. Tried duffman several times, but no idea if he busts through walls. . But after reading that sentence in my mind he kept doing that over and over saying "Ow Yeah!!..."
Hah! The only reason I got DaVinci's symmetrical man was because there's a card in the Fox Animation Throwdown collectible card game with the Simpsons-esque version of the figure called "Vitruvian Man!"
HoffMAN was in Rain Man, Marathon Man and Little Big Man, Death of Salesman and All the President's Men!!
Oh man.
Also Gingerbread men are not at all like a chocolate chip cookie, gingerbread is its own type of biscuit, but whatever.
