Different sources cite the lyrics slightly differently - I have tried to be as flexible with differences in versions as my knowledge of these versions permits

Had an editing session with this quiz and it turns out some websites have it as 'growing' and others 'blowing'. I've added both as acceptable type-ins. As for the 'And' before 'Driving', again it differs between websites. Less have the 'And' than do so I have made it into a text cell.
I went and watched a couple of videos of John Denver singing it, and in every video he keeps his mouth open, so there's no chance of producing the bilabial fricative required for 'blowing.'
The 'and' is a little less clear, on the album there's a bit of an 'n' blended right up against the beginning of driving, but it's not heard in any of his live concerts... I think you made good choices in both cases.
Beautiful song. One tip, though, is would it be worth getting the lyrics to read left-to-right, in the way you'd normally read them in a book? Here's an example. Technically the key to doing this is that at Step 4 - Design Grid, choose Manual from the drop down box at the top of the page.
Sorry! I was aware that would happen however the quiz had not been updated for a fair while and so there were mistakes which needed to be fixed if the quiz was to be featured.
I had to learn this song for the birthday party of a friend of mine - he just earned me five points on JetPunk. My only problem was spelling 'Shenandoah' - I am not sure how many combinations I tried until I tried the second 'n'.
The remake by HermesHouseBand was pretty much an ear worm.
Wondered why it wouldn't accept my right word.

My English teacher taught me this song
Take me home country roads, to the place I belong, west virginia mountain momma
is over half the song XD
One of John Denver's finest, even though he had never been to West Virginia when he co-wrote this.
also, 176/176 (:
