I'm going out on a limb here, but I don't think 'bouncepasture' is a real world! Figured it out, though...

Yeah, the only other one I can think of is Buffalo Tom, and bouncepasture doesn't quite work there.

I'd probably be more excited for their music if their name really was Bison Bouncepasture. That's just an awesome name.

Had no idea what this was. I might have got it had it said something like fountpasture, which is a synonym better fitting where the word comes from.

This is AWESOME!! Although just to nitpick, "Nine" in Nine Inch Nails is always spelled out. I don't know if you'd want to change the clue to spell out "23", but I personally don't think it's necessary.

I made this clue, too. On my quiz I spelled out the band name. I guess QM wanted the clue and name to appear more symmetrical.

As you guys are a knowledgeable bunch, save me a trip to Google, who are the fourth answer?

The led in Led Zeppelin is referring to lead, as in the metal, so the synonyms off. But whatever.
+7
Level 82
Apr 27, 2018
I made that clue. I know that they didn't mean led as in directed, but they misspelled "lead"... "led" is the past participle of the verb "to lead"..

Level 67

If people alter words it does not mean they misspelled it. HIghly unlikely it was a misspelling. Pretty sure it was on purpose, there are tons of bands out there with a slight variation on words. (Even if you don't count the ones that put "z" at the end of words instead of "s") it is almost sort of the thing to do when you make a band. Do something fancy with the words

I read somewhere that they wanted to make sure that it is read is “lead” the metal, hence they changed the spelling to “led”.

Just a thought, Panic! at the Disco fans typically refer to the group as "Panic." If "Rage" is a write-in for Rage Against the Machine, then I expect that "Panic" should be enough as well. After all, if you get that far, you probably already know the full name.
