Ha, well, they have never been Argentinian (OK, maybe briefly in 1982), but that gives me an idea: why not make a "Disputed territory" quiz?

I was thinking about this the other day. There are three potential reasons to believe that a territory belongs to a country.

1) Actual control of the territory

2) International recognition

3) Desire of the people in the territory

In regards to the Falklands, Argentina has none of the three. It is possibly the weakest claim to a territory that is commonly mentioned on JetPunk.
