Aren't the primary colours cyan, magenta and yellow? You can use them to make red and blue.

Cyan is made from blue and green. Magenta is made from red and blue.

Mixing all the primary colours gives White, so I'm at a loss as to how the 'Mix of All' answer is Brown. This is confirmed when a prism splits white light into the primaries.

Maybe he was thinking about dye or something similiar. When you mix all primary paints: blue, red and yellow, you definitely won't receive white.

If you spin all the colours together on a colour wheel, then you will get white.\
