Ohio's closest point to Canada is less than four miles. I know that still doesn't officially count, but it is an interesting fact.

But maybe read the quiz description:

"There are 11 U.S. states that share a land or bridge border with Canada."

Ohio and PA: no land borders, no bridges.

In all seriousness, the distance across lake Erie at it's narrowest point is only about 25 miles of bridge, and there is a bridge from hong kong to macau that is 34 miles so it isn't even that unusual.

^ Nowhere near as many people in one spot.

Nowhere near as much frozen solid surface in the current at the other.

Unusual and impossible (and usual/possible) arent the same thing. How many bridges are there that are longer than 30 miles? If it is less than 100 or even 50 I would not could it a usual length for bridges.

Kelly's Island, OH to Middle Island, ON is less than 4 miles. Still no bridge so it doesn't count for this quiz, but, for comparison, at the Olympics in a few weeks, the longest swimming event is 10km (6.2 miles), so the distance is definitely within swimming distance.

Yes, exactly where is Alaska? - If it is, in fact, geographically between Washington State and Canada, then why isn't it put there on any of the jet punk quizzes, but is delegated to the bottom of the map along with Hawaii.

It's to the West of Canada, separated from the rest of the USA. It is moved to the bottom on quizzes because if it was in its proper place it wouldn't fit in the map.

Incorrect. Ohio and Pennsylvania each have a border with the Canadian state of Ontario within Lake Erie. For the purposes of this quiz these borders (being neither land nor bridge) don't count but it doesn't make your comment any less wrong.
