Capitals in 1800 AD

The capitals of some of the nation that existed at the time are unknown, so those nations are excluded. Some other nations lacked a capital, so are also excluded.

Each answer is put into a group based on where the capital was located. If a nation was located in Europe and Asia but the capital was located in Europe, for example, then it would be in the Europe group. Nations whose capitals were transcontinental are simply placed into one of the groups.

Not including nations that were controlled by another (vassals, fiefs etc.), including all nations that were part of the Holy Roman Empire at the time.

Based on this list. The modern names of each city and cities that the capitals are now part of are accepted.
