I might think that Vatican City would be on here because of the diverse mix of native countries represented there

All old men with women slaves (also known as "nuns"). Yes, very diverse.

Why did you only make a quiz on least racist countries in EUROPE? You think there aren't racist people in other cultures too? Why don't you do one for ASIA and AFRICA too? In Asia racism towards darker skinned people is more common than in Europe.

because the Harvard university study focused on Europe. Asia and Africa are not in Europe.

... and, I would generally agree that Asians tend to be more racist toward the darkies than Europeans do. Though... this is hard to quantify. Particularly since Asia and Europe are both pretty big, diverse places.

Sort of like having a quiz on the "10 healthiest combo meals at McDonalds"

When I was in Serbia I found many people there who were quite prejudiced against Americans, Kosovars, Albanians, Turks, Greeks, Africans, gypsies, et cetera. Of course, that doesn't really make it much different from anywhere else in Europe. Are they in first place or last place on this list? Not clear. I've met many Belgians who were racist against Americans and various Eastern European and African people, too.

These comments may say more about the prejudices of the writer than those of the people being written about

Kolji: I was not doing research. The people there were kind enough to volunteer their racist views and attitudes to me without my asking them.

Jon: Maybe? Kind of hard to see how. But I think your comment probably says more about your prejudices than mine.

Interesting... I wonder what it is about Yugoslavia, and only the northern part.

My experience backpacking through Europe several times over the last 30 years, married to a Pole, and friends with many Europeans, is the farther east you go the more racist the population. Not to cast aspirations over Yugos but people who fight a civil war over linguistic and religious differnces are not somehow the least racist when they don't even like each other.

How can they be racist if they hate each other, they are all white.
