This needs 2 more minutes. I'd need to type them out nonstop with no mistakes and no guessing to get them all in the allotted time (at least at my typing speed).
Okay, so I am not a basketball fan by any measure and I am not American, so I am a bit confused by the grouping of these university teams into the four regions. It doesn't seem to be geographically consistent; for example, why is Florida State playing in the West region and LSU in the East. Same with Michigan, which should be in the Midwest, geographically. There are many other anomalies. Can someone enlighten me? (:
Don't get too worked up about that. The regions are, sort of, relevant, but priority is given to making four brackets of more or less equal difficulty. Thus, you can have three teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference be chosen as #1 seeds (i.e. one of the four best teams in the country), and even though they're all from the east, only one can be from the "East," if that makes any sense. Even though Gonzaga is definitely from the west, the rest of the "West" is geographically hilarious.
I remember being confused about this stuff for the longest time. Always asked things like "why is Virginia considered South if it's further north than VCU?"
It might be nice if it accepted Prairie View without the A&M. They've been in the tournament a few times, and I had no idea it had an A&M at the end of the name.
