Tornadoes rated as EF4 or EF5 are categorized as violent and produce extreme damage. The EF scale was put in effect in the United States in 2007. This quiz only covers tornadoes rated with the EF scale as opposed to the F scale. Tornadoes must produce E4 or EF5 damage in the state for the tornado to be counted toward a state.
