Make long words: South America

For each country, what is the longest word which can be made out of the letters in its name?
I haven't included any obscure words.
Each letter can be used only once. So, for example, Brazil can only yield a word of six letters at the most.

For chile, what about the word “Chile”? Is it not a word? I thought it was chile, the soupy food with beans and stuff

I was in two minds about that one! It does exist, yeah, but I thought it was a better challenge to make a word *from* those letters rather than just repeating the entire word, which seems unsatisfying. Plus, it's a fairly obscure spelling, "chili" being the standard one.
